Danny provided operational and strategic HR support during my time working on the Consumer Direct East of England contract, and his input was invaluable throughout. In addition to delivering a number of key objectives (TUPE transfer, T&C harmonisation, "Pathways" pay and reward structure), he remained on hand throughout my time managing the service to offer advice and support as required. Whether this involved his attendance in dismissal hearings, liaising with Union representatives, meeting with Clients or recruitment and assessment centres, Danny could always be relied on to perform consistently at a high level. Approachable to all members of my team, Danny was always able to analyse any given situation in a considered, balanced and objective manner, challenging managers to do the same when making decisions. Equally comfortable involved in high-level strategic projects through to detailed day-to-day operational HR functions, his versatility and positive response to changing and challenging circumstances were to his immense credit. Extremely professional, knowledgeable and focussed, Danny was a tremendous asset when we worked together. He set a benchmark for HR support within the organisation, and I would recommend him without reservation.
