US Army, 19th Sig Co., Electronic Maintenance Facility (EMF) Shop Officer -19th Sig Co, 11th Sig Bde, Ft Huachuca, AZ, 11/1991-9/1994 Served as CW2 in a CW4 position and as Acting 19th Signal Company Commander (ad hoc); led the 19th Signal Company to first place in the "Beat the General" run; deployed to Kuwait as part of Task Force 11 (Intrinsic Action / Operation Southern Watch) as the Officer in Charge of the 19th Signal Company General Support Maintenance facility in July-Aug 1992; represented the 19th Signal Company Commander at awards ceremony following deployment; managed an EMF (included SATCOM/microwave transport systems, AM/FM tactical, supply, quality/ production control, air conditioning, etc. Supervised 60 personnel); prepared reports; conducted briefings; wrote articles as unit public affairs officer; managed Logistics Support Program. Somewhere along the line I started getting educated, and didn't finish until I received my doctorate.
