I worked for C&F Tooling Ltd as a Quality Engineer working with manufacturing steel and sheet metal products. I continued with my Designing skills from College within this company using both Solidworks and Pro E Creo Parametric software to design simple products and jigs for use within the company to help improve our use of space and storage and ultimately with the purpose of reducing our handling of WIP throughout its production process to improve the quality of the end product. My responsibilities as a Quality Engineer was to ensure the end product was produced and shipped per customer specifications and requirements and met all Quality standards. This included constant communication with our customers and also visiting them to ensure any concerns received a professional response and were dealt with in a reasonable time frame.
