Made lead tech after 6 months of employment. Cross trained into CT on GE 6800 Quick in 1998. Made Lead tech in CT in 1999. Managed replacement of 6800 units with GE Lightspeed Qi 4 slice and was sent to GE classes for that scanner. Created protocols for studies to include PE, runoffs, carotid arteries and sinuses using post processing for coronals instead of doing a coronal scan which saved patients from extra radiation.
