I manage the IT infrastructure for the Association of Public Health Laboratories. Since I began as a consultant, I have redesigned and rebuilt our network four times due to APHL’s constant growth and demands. Now we leverage Microsoft’s Azure services and O365 to provide infrastructure to our field offices across Africa. We Paved the way for Paetec to become a Microsoft certified SIP trunk provider, and we were one of the first non-profits to migrate to a full Microsoft Lync telephony solution. I keep APHL on the cutting edge of technology using the Microsoft stack of solutions, and popular hardware providers. I’ve used the Microsoft stack to provide our staff applications that run on high availability clusters. I integrated third party vendors like Juniper, F5, and Dell for our hardware needs.
