• Leading an electrical team in the delivery of a new £12 million covered court project at AELTC Wimbledon tennis club, this role includes but not limited to –• Leading procurement and negotiation reviews with multiple sub-contractors to ensure all aspects of their bids are compliant with the project scope of work and within project budgets • Pre-construction of the project, reviewing the project design and scope of works, installation methods and the profitability of the project • Working with the project commercial lead, to identify cost risks and opportunities, whilst ensuring that all relevant contractual notices are issued • Managing the sub-contractors to effectively deliver the project on time and on budget, including weekly progress reviews and 2+4 programme reviews to highlight upcoming works and to mitigate any blockers• Managing the installation of several electrical packages including but limited to LV switch gear, cast resin busbar, central battery system, lighting control, fire alarm, access control and structured cabling system • Encouraging health and safety as the numbering one priority across the project, ensuring all access equipment has the relevant safety documentation and weekly checks are undertaken • Interfacing regularly with the mechanical department, reviewing the project design and installation to ensure alignment and smooth delivery of the project• Monitoring of the quality management process and sub-contractor standards to ensure the highest possible specification • Leading a team of engineers through the technical review, co-ordination and implementation of the desired systems, along with reviewing design information to ensure the stakeholders needs are met and aligned to high quality expectations and specifications• Building and maintaining a solid working stakeholder relationship, attending regular progress meetings and managing queries to closure to ensure the client is satisfied

• Working as part of the NG Bailey team on a £56 Million MOD project in Salisbury, due to the nature of the project I am unable to disclose many of the systems undertaken. • Leading a team of 3no site engineers through the technical review, co-ordination and implementation of the desired systems, along with reviewing design information and working with the design and BIM departments to ensure the stakeholders needs are met. • Holding regular review sessions with the stakeholders and designers to ensure high quality specification requirements are met• Leading the installation of £3 million BMS package, £1 million structured cabling system, as well as power earthing, LV switch gear installation, transformers, cast resin bus bars, static transfer switch and UPS systems with a value of £6million • Interfacing with the mechanical department to ensure strong and productive communications.• Directing and communicating with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure all elements of the project are within budget. • Mentor to a BSE student as chosen by the project director, this involves providing him with the technical knowledge and guidance to deal with sub-contractors, reviewing tender bids, budgets, whilst interfacing with the client project team. • Procurement & Delivery Lead for the Nightingale COVID-19 hospital in Cardiff (6-week secondment). This was a fast-paced project to convert the Principality Stadium in to a coronavirus field hospital in 6 weeks with a project value of £5million, this involved working with multiple sub-contractors, suppliers and interfacing with many other trades.
