- Participated in the Canada Norway Rocket Exchange - Served as head of Student Rocket Physics team - Collaborative programming team in MatLab and Python - Utilized my personal Windows 2016 server to test our team's code - Coordinated launch procedures with Telemetry, Decoding, Payload, Science, and LaunchPad teams - Launching of Radiosondes to monitor atmospheric conditions - Ran final simulations to fine tune launcher trajectory I served as the head of the student Rocket Physics Team. We designed both MatLab and Python based flight simulations of our Mongoose 98 rocket. During the launch sequence, I served as the Student Launch Operations Specialist, monitoring subsystems and coordinating prelaunch procedures with the Telemetry, Decoding, Payload, Science, and LaunchPad teams. Our rocket physics team launched radiosondes to monitor weather conditions leading up to and during the launch sequence. The team utilized my personal remote server (Windows Server 2016) to allow for extremely detailed simulations using weather balloon data and fluid mechanics models of our rocket. My team's simulations proved more accurate than open source alternatives; predicting the rocket's maximum elevation and landing position to within one standard deviation. Show less
