Freelance rigging for a small digital startup working on an upcoming interactive drama experience game based on a popular IP. My responsibilities involved designing and building a biped master rig, as well as setting up and skinning multiple characters. I also collaborated with modellers to get good topology for smooth deformations. Challenges included designing a rig that could easily be rescaled to fit different characters, working within the limited toolset of Maya LT and capable of exporting into Unity. Show less

Work Experience

Work Experience as part of college Work Experience program. At Spider-Eye I essentially got to spend a week animating. I split the week evenly between hand-drawn 2D animation with a lightbox and 3D animation using Lightwave 3D. The experience provided me with a great deal of early insight into the industry and solidified my desire to study animation at degree level. I also washed and dried dishes after lunch break and in the afternoon, which taught me the value of those handled sponges that dispense washing up liquid for you! Show less
