Dan Brown

Dan worked for me during some of his time at Enghouse and I was always impressed at his level of commitment and technical expertise both in a technical support capacity but also his software development skills. Dan produced a couple of software applications that we now use everyday and streamlined what were historically very laborious tasks. He did this in his own time whilst focusing on support duties during the day. A great engineer both in a support and development capacity, I wish him all the best for the future.

Dan is an excellent person to work with. He is able to competently build rapport within a very short space of time. From here he builds relationships well and is able to suit his behaviour dependant on the people he is dealing with. His technical ability is unsurpassed and his attention to detail goes beyond the expected.       During this internship I provided support for customer applications and database systems for the VIM software suite. The role involved taking calls directly from clients and solving technical SQL, XML, MSSQL admin problems by creating test scripts and thoroughly analyzing the problem, this role also required me to build strong relationships with clients and provide 24/7 support for high availability systems. I created numerous training documents to assist future interns with technical processes and also automated manual systems through creation of interactive VBA office documents which vastly improved the efficiency of existing systems.
