In 2022, I moved to SoCha, LLC where I served as a Project Coordinator supporting Business Development processes, Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning (MEL) Project Coordination initiatives, and Corporate Structures. I also served as a primary point of contact for SoChaʼs field administrative officers across the African and Asian regions and was responsible for the Vietnam Learns Activity in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Social Impact, and supported the Final Evaluation of the Green Invest Asia Activity with USAID. My role further focused on supporting Quality Assurance (QA) processes in line with applicable client contract provisions and relevant government regulations, coordinating recruitment and hiring processes for specific USAID-SoCha activities, and in supporting its headquarters marketing strategies. -- SoCha (a portmanteau of Social and Change) is an independent Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (ME&L) firm that provides bespoke solutions to social challenges. Since its inception in 2010, Socha has grown from a consortium of globally recognized experts who evaluate the effectiveness of development assistance, to a comprehensive analytical service provider that specializes in advancing innovative methodologies to enhance the way donors find solutions and adapt to social problems. Socha's work informs social change across a myriad of sectors including governance, stabilization, economy, trade, technology, anti-trafficking, health, education, agriculture, sustainable fishing and climate resilience. Project Officer

My role as a Project Officer in the IORA Secretariat focused on the Directorate responsible for the priority areas of Maritime Safety and Security (MSS), Disaster Risk Management (DRM), and Renewable Energy, and I was responsible for the management of the IORA Public Diplomacy and Communications Unit. During this time, I provided support across the IORA portfolio, to foreign ministerial and senior officials meetings, and served as the focal point for IORA's Maritime Safety and Security and Disaster Risk Management focus areas. I also supported the development and implementation of key strategic documents and several regional work plans to strengthen cooperation between IORA's 23 Member States, and organised and managed numerous international meetings and workshops. I also acquired extensive experience in regional research projects on the Blue Economy, and worked alongside renowned international experts and think tanks on pressing regional matters and was responsible for engagement with Dialogue Partners Egypt, Japan and Türkiye. In addition, I established and led the IORA Public Diplomacy and Communications Unit and the IORA Media Network connecting journalists from media agencies throughout the Indian Ocean. Show less
