This program is a counselor in training and leadership in training program for 15-year olds and 16-year olds, I had the pleasure of teaching the next generation of potential staff members how to become a great counselor and leader. My responsibilities consisted of teaching key points of a great leader and counselor, showing that camp is fun even when you must be a role model, and teaching them how to interact and approach any difficult situation they might have with a younger camper or co-counselor. Improved my leadership and teamwork skills.

As a hostess, my responsibilities were to greet guest and walk them to their table. Utilize the touch screen automated computer system to determine seating availability. I also answered the phone and assisted with ToGo orders. I monitored the restaurant and responded quickly to any of the guests needs if their server wasn’t present. As a food runner, my responsibilities consisted of putting the final touches on a prepared entrée before it is ready to be served to the guests. Then I would serve the food to the assigned table. Also, I cleared dirty plates from the table so it can then be cleaned and reset for the next guests.
