I worked with Danilo over the course of several years. In his role of Senior DBA, he helped me (developer) and the other developers countless times in every way imaginable! He showed us how to design tables in the most optimal way, creating proper indexes, constraints, and any necessary triggers. Danilo also created systems/methodologies to quickly identify any problems that came up with our code/stored procedures. If there were any slowdowns on the database, Danilo was able to find it and help us fix it quickly. Danilo taught us about optimizing our code - incorporating best practices while preventing locks, using transactions to ensure data integrity, and utilizing query hints when appropriate. He showed us how to analyze Execution Plans, Statistics, and SQL Profiler to help improve stored procedures and code to consume less CPU and I/Os, tremendously improving database performance. With a website average of two thousand SQL transactions per second and tables with record counts in the hundreds of millions, it was critical to write efficient and elegant code to optimize performance. You won't find a person with more patience, dedication, and integrity than Danilo. He is always willing to help anyone with SQL questions. He truly cares about the client needs and the company he works for, wanting to create the best system possible. Even though I no longer week with Danilo, I still seek his help on DB related questions and he is always happy to help!

Danilo is one of the best and exceptional DBA in the industry. His DBA skills are awesome. A perfectionist, if I had to describe him in one word. I learned a lot of SQL related stuff from him. He is always cool and ready to help even when he is under lot of work pressure. He is a very down to earth person who welcomes suggestion's even from his juniors. If you need a doctor for your Database related operations, he is the one you need to see!!! It would be my pleasure to work with Danilo again anytime!
