Since mid-2017 I have been actively involved with The Animal Pad, a 501c3 nonprofit, all-breed dog rescue based out of San Diego, CA. I first began as an event volunteer, and after about a year of managing a wide variety of different roles and tasks throughout the rescue, I became the Volunteer Director of the rescue in mid-2018. The Animal Pad is operated solely by volunteers, and funded entirely by donations. Our primary mission is rescuing and rehabilitating homeless dogs from Mexico, although we also aid various San Diego based shelters. Since TAP was founded in 2010, we have helped thousands of dogs find their forever homes, and gained an incredible community of humans along the way! Show less

I have worked here 3 times - first, from October 2012-May 2013, and again from November 2014-July 2015. I left on very good terms both times, so the owner was happy to hire me back a third time. • Provide exceptional customer service and ample knowledge of all products available, making it very simple to explain key differences and uses to customers • Opening and closing of the shop, running the register, drawer counting and frequent cash drops into the safe • Hand-drawn sign making for various deals, store rules, and to draw attention to certain pieces • Ability to up-sell and provide enough facts and personal experiences to make the customer feel secure in their purchase Show less

A cannabis delivery service that I founded in mid-2015. It was short lived, but an incredible experience that I wouldn't trade for anything! I ran full operation of the delivery, including but not limited to choosing/buying product and setting pricing, full management of our Weedmaps listings (multiple listings in various North County cities), receiving call orders and preparing said orders, and doing all of the actual driving/delivering myself. Customer (patient) service, full transparency, and building an honest/trusting relationship with my patients was key. Show less

My art and design side business, launched in 2011. Hand-drawn, all original designs ranging from business logos, cards, and flyers, to personalized posters and tattoo designs. I worked on multiple projects as a graphic designer for Sweet Sync Productions, a local music producer and DJ. I created logo, flyer, and CD cover designs, as well as digitized the aforementioned projects. My art and design side business, launched in 2011.
