  I was Chief Organizer of the first summer school at SSE Riga called Youth Entrepreneurship Summer School 2014. I started to organize this event when I was granted the NordPlus Foundation of 9900 EUR. Also one of my duties was to find sponsors to fundraise the event. Youth Entrepreneurship Summer School or simply YESS is an elective course organized by Entrepreneurship Support Centre at SSE Riga, and unites students from Technology, Design and Business. It is a mix of a classroom course, mini accelerator and a developers' hackathon. The main goal of YESS is to create teams of complementary skillset that will help develop real, high quality startup ideas! Participants meet more than 40 students from the Baltics and the Nordic region, mainly consisting from students of University of Tartu, Lund University and SSE Riga. The elective brings together science, engineering and arts students that have different competences from all the countries represented. Skill Mixer program has been developed in close collaboration with certified professors from SSE Riga, University of Tartu and Lund University. I have obtained agreement with Technical Faculty in University of Tartu and Lund University Design factory and developed a pilot outline for the course. During the week of June 29 to July 4 participants started working on realistic startup ideas, expand your network in other industries, learn from experienced mentors, attend amazing lectures, get a hands-on experience, and challenge yourself. Rector of SSE Riga decided to make YESS as the annual competition which will improve the quality of education at SSE Riga and will create an alumni network of those who will have completed the summer school.
