Hammurabi was my first contact with entrepreneurship. As founder, guitarist, bassist, and vocalist I built one of the bands that renovated the Brazilian metal market in the middle 2000 decade. Following the steps of Sepultura, Sarcofago, Overdose, and other great bands of Belo Horizonte's scene, we've launched some albums with the Cogumelo Records here in Brazil and distribution in the US and Europe by Relapse Records. Furthermore, we were recognized as the best fresh new band of the year in 2009 and the band of the year in 2011 by the Mondo Metal Magazine from Jornal Estado de Minas, an important media here in Brazil. True Ranking was an idea that has become my second startup. Together with friends during my passage for Manaus, we thought algorithm for ranking the MMA fighters using a different algorithm. Our main goal was to connect it with a website of news for Brazilian fans. We cover some events of the genre in Brazil and especially the UFC Glover vs Bader where we had a full team working backstage with interviews, photos, and videos in real-time.
