Infantry Specialist (Signal Specialist)

Jan 2001 - Oct 2009
Have been in the force from 2001 doing my studies while training up to be a Specialist in the force. At the end of the year, was admitted into School of Infantry Specialists to be trained further with the skill sets as an infantry specialist would have. The training consist a total of 6 months including Basic and Advanced Section Leaders course. Once I was passed out from the course, I took 3 years of No-Pay-Leave to take up my Diploma. Once I have completed my Diploma, I came back into the force and was posted into 6SIR(Singapore Infantry Regiment) to take up the position of a section leader and lead a group of 7 men(including me) in objectives that would defend our nation and deter any terrorist or unknown forces from getting into our key installations. This job lasted for 2 years with me moving around the regiment performing the same duties. In 2007, was posted out into another unit to fulfill my duty as a section leader. This include 6 months of training that would prep us up for the task that the unit would be facing. Once this training is done, I am placed into the Support Company taking up position as the section leader for the pioneer platoon. During this phase, I was send to ATI(Armor Training Institute) to be train as a Vehicle Commander for 6 months. The next 6 months would include trainings and missions involving the security of our nation. At about a year before I leave the force, I was send to SI(Signal Institute) to be trained as an Signal Specialist. Once I have finish the course, I was back into my unit handling mostly logistics of our signal equipment. I would also be tasked with handling and setting up of the network systems used by the officers in the battalion. This systems are mostly used during missions so as they could communicate via email or messaging. Trained @ SISPEC as a Infantry Section Leader Trained @ Signal Institute as a Signal and Communications SpecialistWIT (Work Improvement Team) Leader course
