Developed creative and innovative strategies to increase Rutgers overall young alumni giving participation. Accomplishments include launching the first-ever Rutgers Giving Day, a 24-hour fundraising initiative that raised over $1.25M from 4,766 donors. Implementation of this program involved leading a committee made up of 38 staff members from 15 different departments, both within and outside of the Rutgers University Foundation, overseeing the selection of and managing deliverables with multiple vendors, and reporting progress to the University and Foundation Presidents and Executive Boards.Introduced Scarlet Voice, a tool that empowers social media ambassadors to spread awareness about Rutgers through peer-to-peer interactions in a fun and meaningful way. Managed the Students Supporting Students Campaign (SSS), which created 43 new scholarships and doubled the number of alumni who make donations to the school. SSS was the 2015 winner of the Generous U Student Philanthropy competition from the Sillerman Center for Advancement in Philanthropy at Brandeis University. Responsibilities included recruiting, supervising, and training student volunteers, creatingand implementing a marketing and solicitation strategy, reporting and analyzing campaignstatistics, building partnerships with other organizations, entities, and schools bothinternal and external to Rutgers, planning events, corresponding with donors and alumni, and writing content for the magazine and monthly newsletters.Organized and chartered the Rutgers School of Social Work Alumni Council, composed of distinguished alumni from around the country and leaders of the social work profession. Co-authored an academic article, "Creating a Culture of Student Philanthropy to Address Financial Challenges at Universities," which was published in the Spring 2015 edition of the Journal of Social Work Education. Prior to publication, this paper was presented at the 2014 Council of Social Work Education Conference in Tampa, Florida.
