This enjoyable placement provided me with an in-depth insight into the world of digital design. Here I developed my website design skills at every stage of the process, from the initial sitemapping and wireframing through to design and Wordpress management. With significant responsibility for a series of large-scale projects, Styles Webbin gave me the opportunity to act as an instrumental part of this small design team. Some of my work here included the re-design of a prestigious charitable trust’s website, The Longford Trust, a crowdfunding website, MercyCrowd, the building of a new e-commerce brand, Flexidesk and the design of some new pages for the New College of The Humanities.

Here I took part in a huge variety of design work for a diverse range of clients from popular beauty brands to corporate law firms. My workload included press releases, e-commerce banners, logos, websites, social media imagery, e-newsletters, formal documents, packaging and more. Working to tight deadlines for such a wide spectrum of corporations gave me an extremely enriching, invaluable experience. Here I assisted in film production and location research. This also involved shadowing the graphic design team and receiving basic instruction in the use of motion graphics software. During my time at Sassy Films the graphic design team were working predominantly on superimposed backgrounds using green screens and this was particularly constructive. This involved meetings and discussions with food packaging graphic designers and shop-window designers. I gained a helpful insight into the world of high-end food packaging within a multinational company.
