  Initially started as an Admin Assistant inputting data onto various systems and after 3 months began my role as a Tax Assistant and over the last few months I have had responsibility of training new recruits within the Compliance team. Tasks as a Tax Assistant include;• Trained new employees on Compliance tasks and company procedures, including compiling training plans and written processes to assist with this.• Liaising with Customer Service team to resolve complex client queries• Communicating with HMRC via phone to discuss various issues regarding client's self-assessment accounts.• Analysing tax returns to ensure all data regarding income, tax and expenses are inputted correctly into all systems.• Sending completed tax returns to clients to obtain approval by using systems such as Adobe, Mailchimp and Firetext.• Submitting expenses claims to HMRC via Taxfiler.• Analysing various data sources and updating daily statistics.• Assisting compliance team efficiently and effectively to ensure queries are resolved and updated on time.
