  I play a vital role in the patient-doctor relationship in making sure that intake information at the beginning, during, and end of any visit is up to date and accurate. This includes:Obtaining vital signs, reviewing medications and allergies, assisting with procedures, sending in prescriptions/refills, etc. More specifically, I work in Endocrinology. I am fully trained and have almost weekly experience in CGMS (continuous glucose monitoring system placement and download) using the I-pro system from Medtronic. I also am in the process of being trained to place CGMS sensors from Dexcom. I also set-up and assist in the collection of cells from thyroid biopsies and make sure they are collected and sent-off properly to the correct location.
