Within six weeks, we had cleared six months of appointments and brought the Ministry’s processes in line with the State Services Commissions’ appointment guidelines. To do this successfully, required excellent stakeholder relations with four Minister’s offices, boards and the Ministry’s senior leadership team.• Work closely with Chief Executives, Board Chairs and four Ministers’ offices to appoint suitable members to Ministerial Committees and Boards.• Provide high quality advice via weekly briefings to the various Minister’s regarding the appointment and reappointments of members to Crown Entities, Regulatory Authority Boards, Councils and Committees.• Assist with the District Health Board 2019 appointments, sending communication to nominated candidates, existing members and organising the interview process.
