I highly recommend Danielle as a coach - she has a natural, warm and positive approach that makes the journey so effortless. She has helped tremendously to make sense of the jumbled thoughts and pick out a clear path.

Danielle’s coaching style is calm, client-led and thorough, and was adapted to my specific goals. She listened intently and helped to draw out the information I was searching for throughout our conversations and the process. Her flexible approach and warm nature meant that virtual sessions were no problem; she was happy to offer guidance whenever asked, and would always check throughout the sessions that I felt they were progressing at the pace I wanted, and I was achieving what I aimed for. It was a pleasure to be coached by Danielle and I will have no hesitation in reconnecting for future sessions when my next challenge arises, or recommending to anyone who also is looking for support in achieving certain goals in their life.

    • Head Clinical Unit Cambridge, Experimental Medicine
      • Sep 2013 - Jan 2017

The Clinical Unit in Cambridge is GSK's MHRA accredited First Time In Human unit located in Addenbrooke's hospital. As head of the CUC my team and I focus on performing innovative experimental medicine studies in early drug development to help bring down attrition by learning about the clinical effects of new medicines as early as possible. Using deep mechanistic studies will also increase our understanding of the pathogenesis of disease which could lead to novel targets for drug development . We collaborate with institutes located on the Cambridge Medical campus and in the wider Cambridge and London area to bring together knowledge and expertise in our aim to develop medicines and cure for patients. I headed up the clinical trial team focussing on early phase studies in patients with inflammatory joint diseases. This team consisted of MD's preparing their PhD thesis, nurses, ethics manager, database manager as well as medical students. The scientific lab has a crucial role and was intimately involved in all studies and procedures. During this period, I was a member of the Secretary Concilium Rheumatologicum of the Dutch Society for Rheumatology and co-represented the rheumatologist medical specialty in the National Medical Specialists Registration Board.
