After I graduated from USF, I got a job tutoring this family of a special needs child who was globally delayed sign language to help her to communicate with her family. In a week I got her to say words. That was one of my sweetest accomplishments. Shortly after I got that job, I started my own ASL tutoring services to families who want to learn ASL to communicate with their loved ones or teach their babies sign language. I also tutor ASL students in high school and colleges. I am also Deaf Education tutor at Lake Sybelia Elementary for kids who need more help outside of their classrooms. Also when a parent of a student contact me, I will go to the student's home or their preference of a place to meet. My ambition of my services is to provide each student or family their needs and their satisfaction of their expectations from me. Show less

During my last semester of my undergraduate career, I had to do some volunteer work. I decided to become a SIL, Student Instructor Leader. This position was more like an assistant professor. I was my government professor's assistant to make sure all students in her class were on the right track. I offered group and one to one tutoring sessions throughout the semester. I hosted 3 sessions a week to have students come in with any questions or if they needed homework help. During my last semester of my undergraduate career, I had to do some volunteer work.
