      • I was trained to be a cashier as one of my duties, where I dealt with customers as they checked out. I also had to greet customers as they came in the store. We also were trying to promote and sign people up for the TJMaxx credit reward system every time they approached the cash register. I had to keep the register area clean and neat, along with making tickets for nonticketed items. I also returned lost, broken, or returned items to their proper places. I was also trained as a sales associate which kept the store in its departments, clean, in order, and organized. I constantly spoke with customers to greet them, ask for help, and help answer any questions about the products. I restocked the racks and shelves when new shipments came in. I also worked during the holidays doing inventory of the entire store and making sure everything was marked and accounted for. I also was trained as a dressing room associate and made sure the area was kept tidy, along with helping prevent theft by counting items as they entered and left the dressing room. I organized the items left in the dressing room by size and department and dispersed them back to their proper locations in the store. Show less

      • I worked in the Subway located in a Walmart, and because this was a smaller store, I only worked with only one other person or just by myself. I had to learn quickly after training how to run the store and began closing by myself. My duties were making sandwiches, washing dishes, restocking the meat, vegetables, condiments, cheeses, etc. I made pretzels as well. I baked cookies when we needed more. I swept and mopped the store, along with many other cleaning duties. I had to complete the end of the day cashier duties and make sure everything was accounted for. Show less
