We leverage innovation to create a citizen-centered government, through two strategies: project design and innovation capability development within government. Creators of Gob.pe, the Peruvian government's single domain platform which revolutionized the design of digital services and interactions between government and citizens, and sparked our government's digital transformation. • Responsible for establishing an innovation team to bring government closer to citizens, leading strategy definition, team building and key processes; • Led the design and implementation of the single domain platform Gob.pe, which organically reached over 1 million users in 4 months and became the cornerstone of the Peruvian government’s digital strategy; • Supervised the design of digital services, assembling agile pods to work with different areas of government; • Developed a program to develop human-centered design capabilities in public servants; • Articulated a network of over 4,000 civil society volunteers, who acted as our users for research and testing.
