As the CFO, I lead a team managing all FABAL’s commercial entities, including 5 public companies and a nummber of private groups, across vineyards, wine brands, skincare and chocolate and associated regional tourism. The Association is funded by members, sponsors, industry partners and fundraising activities and is governed by a Board of directors elected from within the McLaren Vale grape, wine and tourism fraternity. I served as one of four Directors representing the wine sector. Building consensus with such a diverse group of stakeholders and limited budgets was a fantastic experience. Served as the Chair for a six month period whilst we recruited a new independent Chair. Held the positions of Deputy Chair and Aduit Committee Chair throughout my term. Show less
