I rarely come across a trustworthy person like Daniele. I had the pleasure of working with him for two years at illimity, collaborating on several acquisition and data management projects. Daniele ability to enter in details, covering all the aspects of a topic was definitely not common. For sure there is no colleagues that doesn’t love him. He was a great colleague and a great companion - happy to have spent some years with him.

    • Managing Director Photovoltaic Business
      • Nov 2008 - Oct 2010

Reporting directly to the founder and CEO, I designed and implemented the change of the company from an engineering service focus to a commercial and turn-key supplier focus driving the company revenues from 4M € in 2008 to over 20M € in 2010, with a team of 18 people being responsible for the company P&L. I drove the change by adding new resources in sales (area managers and back-office), project development and project management areas around the original core in engineering and I built up the agency network at national level on a the two-channel sales strategy: B2B (components/pv kits) and B2C (turnkey plant) for both land/rooftop solutions. I negotiated and established strategic relationship with PV technology suppliers (Bosch Solar Energy, Vipiemme Solar, Refusol, Solarmax) and local installers and engineering companies. With the new resource for project development we fully developed, secured project financing with Centrobanca, built and operated 4 large size PV plants for a total of 6 MW (about 18M €). Show less
