Built a reinforcement learning based recommender system in python to capture users’ sequence and timing preferences with regards to content. Deployed this recommender system on AWS as part of a scalable pipeline. Organized and led training sessions on software development best practices. Every car manufacturer has a computer code that will predict the emissions coming out of a specific car model's tailpipe given the environmental parameters. My work over the past 6 years has been to develop such a code for liquid fuel molten salt reactors. Not only do my methods simulate reactor processes but said methods include modules for the simulation of a reactor operator who seeks to linearly optimize some target objective concerning the reactor. These methods have been built inside the SERPENT2 Monte Carlo code written in C.

      - Developing training and educational materials, focused on reactor operations, for an audience ranging from reactor operators to the executive board of the Tennessee Valley Authority. - Developed automation tools and scripts, VBA and AWK, for collecting data from reactor modeling codes and then analyzing the data and producing core maps of control blade history in Microsoft Excel.

      - Carrying through the entire scientific/engineering process from the identification of an issue, contaminated air in hospitals, to the identification of a possible solution, an stable glow discharge plasma, to the investigation of how to form and sustain such a plasma to the design, fabrication and testing of a device to do just that, and finally to the presentation and communication of the outcomes.
