  Tenuta Ceccatelli, a 17th-century villa in the heart of Tuscany, represents the barefoot luxury of Italian country living. Completely renovated in 2017, I was involved in all aspects of the extensive renovations including furniture selection, interior design, managing budget and timeline, communication with architects and contractors, negotiating estimates, problem-solving, as well as, garden and landscape detail. It gives me great joy to now manage the estate as a year-round vacation destination. The sun-filled property features two beautifully restored 17th Century structures: the main house and the granary. The convivial living rooms welcome travellers to kick up their feet and relax into the dolce far niente—the Italian art of doing nothing. Food and wine connoisseurs will love the custom Tuscan kitchen in the main house where delicious Italian meals and lively conversation take place around a large farm table. Our multiple al fresco dining areas are irresistible in the warmer months, inviting guests to enjoy a cocktail hour spritz or a summer barbeque under the stars. The property is set on the oak-forested Cambolli hill in the heart of Chianti Classico, just a stone’s throw from a winding medieval road that leads to Siena along the famous Chianti wine route.   Equity Estates is a private equity fund that purchases $2 to 4M luxury properties all over the world. Its strategy is to acquire properties, set them up for the use and enjoyment of their investors and hold and meticulously maintain them for 10 years. Investor/members enjoy access to the portfolio of homes with high touch concierge service. After 10 yrs of usage and enjoyment, properties are sold and investor/ members enjoy a return on their capital investment and receive a majority of the appreciation earned. I assisted in opening the organization’s 1st European destination in 2010, building and then expanding destination vendors and suppliers database. In 2015, I uncovered the company's 2nd residence and facilitated all communication between the property acquisition team, attorney, real estate agents and property owners ultimately securing the company’s final property selection. I also was responsible for interior design of the new property including completion and selecting addition furnishings; interviewing, hiring and training; and supporting the Personal Travel Concierge team. I also: ■ Managed company funds, bank account, payroll for the Italy team and ensured expenses in the form of supplies, labour, repairs, etc. ■ Coordinated and actively provided members and their guests with personalized and memorable services throughout the reservation, planning, member stay and post-departure stages of their travel/vacation experience. ■ Developed strong, long-term relationships and exceptional service support through destination specific Contract Service Providers ■ Negotiated contracts with vendors related to home maintenance as well as member privileges for the destination. ■ Provided pre-arrival planning assistance to members including the creation of travel itineraries, owner member/host pre-planning and in-home calls, presentation and closing of expenses folios and participation in weekly travel planning and management calls, Incident and CID reports.   The Quintess Collection, a member of the Leading Destinations of the World, is a premier luxury destination club with homes and services in over 60 destinations worldwide, giving members and their families access to amazing, carefree vacations to more than 100 homes. As property manager of one of the largest villas in the Tuscany destination, I coordinated and actively provided members and their guests with personalized, unusual, exclusive, and memorable services throughout the reservation, stay, and post-departure stages of their travel and vacation experience. While working with the members, I managed all aspects of the home in my care, including but not limited to property management, housekeeping, maintenance and project management for capital expenditures. On the business side, I effectively managed company funds and ensured that expenses in the form of supplies, labour, repairs, etc. were cost-effective and negotiated contracts with vendors related to home maintenance as well as, member privileges. As Account Manager for Hickey Freeman, Nigel Cabourn and Virgin Clothing, I was responsible for all aspects of product development of men’s and women’s woven, knits and outerwear, including coordination of prototypes, timelines, cost negotiations and production location, as well as collaborating directly with designers. In this role, I travelled internationally and within Italy and was also responsible for coordinating itineraries for client trips to Italy. I also: ■ Sourced new factories and various product specifications. ■ Sourced fairs, selected and sourced yarns, fabrics and trims. ■ Implemented and managed quality assurance guidelines for domestic manufacturing, and consulted with factory management on costing of garments and managed active communications with clients. ■ Was responsible for quality control inspection of production before shipping, including producing instruction manuals for packaging and shipping.
