  R Sustainable is a Social Enterprise Group at The University of Edinburgh, supported by EUSA and founded by Milda Lebedytė and Daniela Groza. We aim to link the disciplines of Art and Science by creating a professional platform, where we explore material innovation through a variety of events. Throughout the year we offer a wide range of seminars, workshops, talks, that explore this theme in fields such as sustainable fashion and product design. Through our events we present a wide variety of innovative projects created by talented artists and accomplished brands, as well as partner with Eco-Friendly brands to offer raffle prizes and discount coupons. Each year in March we host the R Sustainable Fashion Show which aims to showcase student designers and ethical companies, both local and international. Exhibitors from our past events included products such as biodegradable hemp eye-wear, water-soluble sequins, recycled silver and jewellery made out of ocean plastic. We want to give consumers access to products that will help them navigate towards more conscious shopping choices. Our upcoming events include hands-on workshops for re-purposing unwanted clothing items, fashion-science oriented talks, conscious wardrobe styling support, clothes-swaps, and the opportunity to purchase these amazing ethical products at our events.
