      A solution for the orbit determination problem (ODP) about small bodies is proposed and implemented in a MATLAB tool. The selected scenario was a stable trajectory bound to the binary near-Earth asteroid system, Didymos. Measurements were obtained from a 3D imaging LiDAR instrument with configurable beams. And an Extended Kalman Filter was used for the estimation process with a simplified dynamic model for state updates within the filter. Also, a study of the particular solution was performed and parametric sensitivities were studied, which in further developments could enable on-board mission planning and enhance mission autonomy by means of improved knowledge on system dynamics Show less
