Dr. DiGregorio was my instructor for two online courses through Wilkes University's English as a Second Language program. She presented a challenging curriculum and maintained high expectations in all coursework. Although it was an online course, Dr. DiGregorio went above and beyond to create a positive 'classroom' environment through meaningful discussion boards and assignments. She was also always sure to provide personalized and timely feedback. She made her self available multiple times through email, and phone calls. Her knowledge of Second Language acquisition and best strategies to implement its instruction was always evident. Any institution of higher education would benefit with her as a member of their faculty.

I have known Daniela on a professional level for almost 14 years. Most recently, Daniela was our school's E.S.L. liaison in addition to our E.S.L. instructor. In her role, Daniela was able to differentiate her instruction to meet the varying needs of her students. Her understanding of multi-cultural needs and differences is second to none. She was able to tap into that knowledge to offer in-service opportunities to our staff. Daniela was able to effectively communicate with administrators, teachers, and parents alike, while fully engaging in the needs of her students. Daniela is an informed advocate for her students. I have always experienced her to be a professional self-starter, willing to put the needs of her students above all. She was a great asset to our school district. We miss her daily presence in our district, but wish her the best as she continues to pursue other opportunities within her field.
