As Director of Finance my responsibilities included:- External reporting for the group as a public company dual listed in the US and Denmark. This includes setting up SEC reporting and overseeing the development and implementation of internal controls in preparation for SOX compliance. - Overseeing our global accounting operations, including group accounting policies and new accounting considerations as we move from a pre-commercial to a commercial organization- Evaluating new legal entity set-up as part of our pan-European launch readiness, including establishing payroll, accounting and tax functions. This includes initiating and managing transfer pricing considerations to establish an optimal international tax structure.- Managing the payroll function in Denmark for 120+ employees, including foreign employees. This included setting up a new payroll system and transition to a new payroll provider. - Administering our global long-term incentive programs, including establishing processes to track participants, awards, reporting to tax authorities, and accounting for share-based compensation. - Preparing and coordinating Audit Committee meetings with the audit committee chair and external auditors, including development of agenda and presentation materials- Oversaw annual budget process, including coordination with all levels of the organization to gather, challenge and present departmental budgets. Transitioned budget process to newly-formed Business Finance team.

The financial integration focused on transforming the Danish group into a subsidiary of a U.S. domestic registrant complying with Sarbanes-Oxley 404, reconciliation of accounting policies to U.S. GAAP, and adopting U.S. policies.
