As a staff accountant, I provide various accounting and tax responsibilities to many of the firm's business clients. These activities include monthly bookkeeping, cash & credit card reconciliations, tying year-end payroll, monthly & annual accounting adjustments, preparing year-end financials, and preparing business & personal tax returns. I have had the opportunity to work with industry leading tax and accounting software including Thompson Reuters CS Professional Suite and Intuit's QuickBooks Desktop & Online applications. With over two years of adopting the software, I've been able to provide QuickBooks IT support to many of the firm's business clients.   As a summer intern, I assisted the head doctors in creating and managing spreadsheets concerning the company's medical supply expenses. With these spreadsheets, the doctors were able to renegotiate vendor costs, lowering ISPC's medical supply expenses $20,000 annually. In addition, I had an opportunity to perform an internal audit of the company's billing services, researching the causes of outstanding patient account balances.
