The Neve Group is a public accounting firm specialized in providing accounting and tax services to small businesses and individuals. As a staff accountant, I provide various accounting and tax responsibilities to many of the firm's business clients. These activities include monthly bookkeeping, cash & credit card reconciliations, tying year-end payroll, monthly & annual accounting adjustments, preparing year-end financials, and preparing business & personal tax returns. I have had the opportunity to work with industry leading tax and accounting software including Thompson Reuters CS Professional Suite and Intuit's QuickBooks Desktop & Online applications. With over two years of adopting the software, I've been able to provide QuickBooks IT support to many of the firm's business clients. These activities ranged from teaching the fundamentals to assisting with any IT cloud related issues. Show less

    • Summer Intern
      • May 2016 - Aug 2016

As a summer intern, I assisted the head doctors in creating and managing spreadsheets concerning the company's medical supply expenses. With these spreadsheets, the doctors were able to renegotiate vendor costs, lowering ISPC's medical supply expenses $20,000 annually. In addition, I had an opportunity to perform an internal audit of the company's billing services, researching the causes of outstanding patient account balances.
