I enrolled in the CISSP class at CTC on Camp Pendleton taught by Dan. Since I took the test that weekend after the class ended, I had little time to prepare outside of the class. I passed first try. I sent another staff member to a class with Dan, and he passed first time as well.

Daniel Wenzel is one of the best engineers I've ever had the privilege to work with. Dan and I worked closely together on a number of opportunities both in presale and throughout the implementation of the solutions we sold together. Dan Wenzel has the rare and unique quality of being an exceptional design engineer as well as a gifted Sales engineer. He presents well, communicates with customers in an honest and straightforward fashion and provides unique and creative solutions that give his company a strategic advantage over the competition Dan is a get it done individual that has the ability to understand a customer’s business requirements and weave them into a technical solution. Dan can take seemingly complex requirements and boil it down to an eloquent solution. He inspires confidence from customers because he is always insightful and honest. Additionally Dan spent a number of years implementing solutions so as he designs or reviews designs he always has an eye to what it will take to implement the technology. In short his designs work empirically not just conceptually. One of his best qualities as an employee and as a person is that he takes personal pride in what he does and is always available to lend a hand to assure the success of a project. If something goes wrong during implementation Dan is on site helping to find a creative solution and assuring that the customer is happy. I would highly recommend him not only because of his technical competence and his ability to inspire confidence with customers but also because of his integrity.
