  I worked in quality control according to a quality system based on medical ISO standards. This included the following responsibilities:- performing testing to approve various suppliers - performing incoming inspections - resolving nonconforming parts. I also redesigned the bearing interface system of their flagship product, an orthopaedic drill cover. I sourced, tested, and approved a new bearing which reduced the total cost of the drill cover by 10%.

  During my time with Home Energy Solutions, I gained experience in the following areas:- working with shop equipment such as drill presses and chop saws to manufacture mounting rails for solar panels- updating part drawings on SolidWorks to the most recent design- creating electrical schematics - Assembling and wiring invertersI also completed a project where I redesigned the cross sectional area of a load bearing rail, reducing the material required by 20%, while retaining the deflection characteristics of the previous rail.
