  I supported five phase I and II clinical trials conducted under two IND applications focusing on process optimization, data analysis and analytics, as well as quality assurance and licensure development for the cGMP ex-vivo expansion of cord blood hematopoietic stem cells. Additionally, I conducted research focused on the process development of a new clinical trial arena focused on novel gene immunotherapy utilizing genetically modified stems cells with chimeric antigen receptors.Utilizing data collected from both ongoing clinical trials and laboratory research I actively worked to better understand and model hematopoietic stem cell regulation in-vivo as well as to better define a murine model to mimic human hematopoietic repopulation using ex-vivo expanded cord blood hematopoietic stem cells.
