      Working on several projects with the sustaining product development department. Doing research for some compliance issues and examining some technical difficulties and working on improving these. 1st project was about the rear wheel joints of the Buffalo and Donkey. 2nd project about creating an overview in stability testing to predict the outcome of a few norm changes. 3rd project was about improving the slider end stop. The project I am now working has a much wider scope. I need to do material studies, strength tests and FEM calculations, cooperate with several teams and align the timelines, also close contact with the supplier and the mould engineers in Xiamen is very nice. The project was only a few months old and therefore there was a lot of room to be creative. Most of the parts I worked on were plastics and after a while the whole water system was assigned to me as well. Working with this team made it all a very instructive and pleasant way to engineer a really outstanding machine.       Mobile Stage is a large truck combination which was engineered at West End and where I helped finishing it and placed every little detail in CAD. The truck itself was a challenge that I really liked to put in 3D and took me about 250 hours. After this engineering Ron van der Prijt went to festivals to let this mobile stage do what is was made for: put up a stage in 30 minutes with the capacity for whole bands or even cars. The stage has lights and music to put up a fantastic display. My function was to see that this stage was put up in time and correctly.
