Monitor and control processes and products of Honeywell UOP licensed units: NHT, Platformer, CCR, LPG, Steam Generation and Recovery Plus located at the Paraguaná Refining Center through the analysis and management of a Honeywell TDC-3000 / TPS GUS to achieve optimal results in terms of quality and convenience at low cost.Achievements:• Successful completion of the maintenance turnaround and safe startup of the unit.• Design of a strategy to add propane in the Recovery Plus to decrease the Chiller outlet temperature down to -15 °C and hence avoid buying a propane truck which price oscillate around $5,000 USD / €4,300 EUR.• Design of new SOP’s related to the CCR Operation: Switch from Black to White Burn, White Burn Startup after a Hot Shutdown and Switchover of the Regenerator Blower from low speed (1800 rpm) to high speed (3600 rpm).• Design of CCR Highlights format in order to identify bad actors with the aim to increase the unit reliability and stream factor.• Training of 2 Control Supervisors.• Supported the Control Engineer in order to update the DCS graphics.
