Boasting 15 million members, this company also has successful publishing, financial and insurance divisions; Responsible for managing all activity relating to the AA car accessories sales channel, from initial product conception, complete product proposal and presentation to all key accounts to final delivery into store or warehouse. Account Management of all National Accounts and tasked with increasing revenue through selling both existing and conceptual products. Management responsibilities for 2 Account Managers and 2 Coordinators who are responsible for Product Procurement, Design, Stock Management and Quality Control. Accountabilities and Accomplishments • Developed product range from just 6 products to a range of over 60 key selling product lines. • Increased revenue within the business from £100,000 per annum to £3.5 million per annum over 6 years. • Prospected all major key accounts and developed these into sustainable revenue streams with good growth opportunities. • Managed accounts include Tesco, Sainsbury, BP, Halfords, Amazon, Morrisons, BHS and Maccess. • Responsible for total profit and loss accountability for two retail outlets generating over £500,000 per annum, this is an increase of over 40% over the 5 years that I have been responsible for. This was achieved by introducing an improved range of products with associated cost savings and therefore generating additional revenue whilst increasing profitability.

These include Gift with purchase, Self Liquidating Promotions and Teaser Promotions. Accountabilities and Accomplishments • Developed my portfolio of accounts from an initial few minor companies to a number of major blue chip organizations, by cold calling and offering a wide range of services. • The list of new accounts that I generated contained such names as BP, Diageo, Wella UK and the Automobile Association. • Responsible for managing the day to day running of these key accounts from the development and sourcing of promotional products, through to the delivery and implementation of the planned promotional activity. • Spent 12 months working on developing the relationship with Diageo, from an initial cold call to obtaining preferred supplier status • Development on the Diageo account started with a successful national promotion for Smirnoff Ice and a Mini Fridge and culminated in managing to win one of the most sought after promotions in the industry with Guinness and St Patricks Day. The final order value was worth over £500,000 on bespoke Guinness branded hats used for a national promotion.
