Technology Law and Criminal Law Policy Section: as a self-initiated project, drafted a white paper that analyzed the mechanisms of alternative privacy-centered cryptocurrencies, identified operational and legal issues for law enforcement engaging in undercover operations involving such cryptocurrencies, and prepared practical operational solutions as well as long-term policy recommendations as a first response to the expansion of dark web. Intelligence Law Section: drafted a policy memorandum on U.S. Persons Principles about how to deal with specific intelligence dealing with those subjects. Conducted standard operational procedure training for members of the intelligence community on whistleblowers’ protection. Civil Litigation Section: drafted discovery requests for a case before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
