  I presently teach students at Sycamore Springs Middle School within the Dripping Springs ISD. In 2017, I participated on the leadership team as the Social Studies Department Chair and helped launch this new middle school. Since then I have been teaching US History and Government to 8th graders. I also established and facilitated a popular and dynamic week long field trip to Washington DC for 65 students. I have won many awards during my time at DSISD, from the school itself, and the state as well as the VFW. Show less

  I started at AISD on the administrative team bridging learning gaps for high need students as an instructional specialist. I facilitated learning experiences that were specifically catered to accelerate the achievement of struggling students who were previously underserved by the institution. I also led an engaging Texas History class and eventually began teaching US History to 8th Graders.
