      • Tasked to independently create a Hall sensor that automatically outputs velocity data for PntOS, a baseline implementation of a new PNT modular open system architecture for the Department of Defense. Developed in Python, using both Windows and Linux machines. The device interfaced with a Raspberry Pi zero in order to package and send data with a company standard message. This allowed for the data to be sent live. Additionally exposed to Arduino hardware and Arduino IDE. • Independently initialized, troubleshot, and implemented Quantity assurance on an INS sensor, aiming to set it up for DDS communication. This process included writing documentation of the sensor and how it operates, communicating with the sensors company, utilizing the sensors firmware, and demoing the functionality of the sensor. • Was able to operate the Hall senor with DDS communications, with the additional use of Arduino’s and Raspberry Pis. The hardware above was used in order to package and send the Hall Sensor data and send it through DDS communication software. • Presented my work at the end of the summer with a presentation, with the majority of the Branch present. Positive feed back was given, along with choosing to continue to use my project in the future. Show less
