Carried out four six month placements, and one 12 month placement across the public sector to develop broad understanding of the public sector policy context. Project Delivery Officer, Secure Schools Policy Team - Developed and implemented a communications and market engagement strategy, including the organization of several stakeholder events for 100+ delegates. - Co-wrote the new guidance for provider applications and helped design innovative application process. Designed and implemented an applicant support programme Service Development Officer, Registration Office, Wolverhampton City Council - Maximised the income generation of the council’s registration office by introducing new services for the public and working proactively to register new venues for weddings. User Researcher, Department of Work and Pensions - Led research for a proposed budgeting tool for universal credit claimants. Conducted qualitative interviews with claimants and reported findings back to relevant policy and delivery teams. Advocated for greater awareness of the issues caused by 5 week gap for payment.
