Served as the director of Chabad Campus. In the short time working in this this role I created a strong Jewish presence across the university campuses as well as built hundreds of connections with Jewish students of all backgrounds. I conducted numerous successful events and programs which made Judaism feel relevant and enjoyable to students across Melbourne on and off the university campus. The role included: •• Host Kosher lunches and Shiurim on a daily basis at different Universities across Melbourne. These are attended by hundreds of students and require engaging in discussion with students, teaching weekly Shiurim involving a wide range of relevant and dynamic topics. •• Host weekly Shabbat dinners at our home for 15–20 people. •• Host a monthly large Shabbat dinner and Friday night service for 100+ students as well as an annual Shabbat dinner with 500+ students. •• Arrange and conduct programs and events for all the Chagim (Jewish Holidays), including 2 large Passover Seders, Purim parties, Chanukah events, Sukkot dinners and Shavuot Programs. •• Host weekend Shabbatons (getaways) twice yearly which include arranging, marketing, organizing and conducting the weekend. •• Serve as the official Chaplain at 5 Universities, duties include offering support, guidance, counselling and assisting with all religious concerns on and off campus. •• Organize and run a monthly outdoor club for students to enjoy themselves in the outdoors as well as a monthly social night. •• One on one Shiurim as well as offering one on one support and guidance to students on and off campus. •• Responsible for all marketing, flyer design, maintaining connection with students through social media such as Facebook, Twitter and updating our website.
