      My SCITT training allowed me to further my teaching skills I had developed whilst working at The Ripley Academy, to gain QTS and a PGCE through The University of Nottingham. I trained to teach secondary music, key stages 3 to 5, which allowed me to teach a wide curriculum. At key stage 3 topics included learning to play various instruments, band skills, remixing, and performance studies.
