Responsible for manufacturing and installing the braking system on the V1 car. Learning important workshop skills to achieve this goal such as metalworking. Responsible for creating orders for new parts, manufacturing new ones, and documenting parts created and used. Working in a team of four, I collaborate to develop the human interface within our car to allow the driver to efficiently operate the vehicle.

L'Space Mission Concept Academy Student

A 12-week program where teams of undergraduate engineers produced a PDR for a lunar mission concept through Arizona State University. Project requirements dictated the creation of a lunar mapping mission to accurately map surface and sub-surface water-ice in the lunar south pole. Within the science sub-team for the project, responsibilities included researching potential instrumentation to be used on orbiter concept and collaborating with the engineering sub-team when designing CAD models. Learned how to conduct scientific research and interfaced with the engineers behind potential instruments to improve research and confidence in the concept. Show less
