Chris and I own Casa de Las Tortugas in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Our house sleeps 13 and has 6 master suites with 6 1/2 bathrooms (including 1 outdoor shower). 5 master suites are "on the beach"- the only property in the area that we know of that has this. When we are not enjoying the house we do rent it out. Check out our youtube, VRBO and Facebook links for more information. Chris and I own Casa de Las Tortugas in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. I orchestrated all daily operations at a high-volume Kia dealership, including staffing, financial management, marketing, inventory, and sales. I analyzed market trends and designed omnichannel marketing campaigns to capitalize on emerging opportunities. Additionally, I recruited and built high-performance teams from scratch. Increased sales volume by over 40% and customer r.o.'s by 45%. Grew net profit over 2000%. I was promoted from Sales Associate to Finance Director through to General Manager of the #1 volume dealership in the state. Throughout my time with Machens Toyota, I continually identified opportunities for improvement and increased volume and net profit YoY through the Great Recession. I succeeded by building strong relationships with local customers and cultivated a reputation for excellent service. Grew operations from 70 to 120 employees. Increased sales and profitability by 80% within the first year as GM. Established new BMW dealership: directed building design choices, staffed new enterprise, and managed operation for first two years. Attained Toyota's highest achievement, the 'President's Award,' six years in a row. Guided dealership through expansion to a lot 3x the size (66000 sq. ft. and 32 service bays). Show less
