I have been an employee for this company for 3 years, working during the times when I am free from classes, such as the summer months, Christmas holidays, and study weeks. I am very thankful to have Newton Muhammed (from June 2018 - Present) as my manager, who is both considerate and very accommodating with me. He and my fellow colleagues in the produce department, are one of the many reasons why I take pleasure in working here, his passion and eagerness while working with me on the job is of great assistance in my performance. I am also grateful to be able to work in an environment with many supportive, and encouraging people. Regardless of an employee being new to the job or have a high level or employment experience with the company, the working atmosphere is quite accepting and team oriented. While this particular line of work does not directly associate with my chosen career direction, it has greatly assisted me in growing my team work and people skills. In particular, having strong work coalitions with my fellow co-workers helped me to improve in these areas for myself on a personal level. Throughout my time being a part of the produce team for this company, I have expanded skills of responsibility, ingenuity, and solidarity which have all been of great benefit to helping myself improve as an individual.

This was the first company I have been employed by. Through my time working alongside colleagues, I gained valuable insight towards improving my overall work ethic. The scheduling for my work hours was quite accommodating, and I am appreciative towards my former coworkers for making my time spent working for this company very enjoyable. My supervising manager Agnes Forster was an excellent first mentor for the job I was assigned, and I am thankful her teaching me the importance of having a team oriented working dynamic in order to accomplish any tasks at hand. I eventually resigned this position for the purpose of spending more time towards concentrating on my academics during my final year of secondary school.
