While in this position I was a Systems Engineer, Embedded Software Engineer, Field Service Technician, UI/UX Developer and many more things. The company was small and required us to wear many hats daily. While in this position I was able to travel to foreign countries for field service work. I also got to help develop an embedded intelligent vibration/shock sensor, as well as a highly accurate tilt sensor. As part of my systems engineering tasks I developed UIs for our PLC systems and became certified with Inductive Automation's Ignition software.
